Hey, remember my telling you about the Great Autumnal Taxidermy Get-Together in New York at the end of October? Well here are some pics. Above is called “Chimera”, a sample of the group's work from the Minneapolis Association of Rogue Taxidermy or MART. Rob Marbury wrote to me to clarify a few points and to say a few words about the event.
The demonstrators are Scott Bibus and Sarina J. Brewer. “We had a chicken masterclass/gamefeed,” said Rob. “So once we finished skinning the chicken we served chicken gumbo (as well as a vegan gumbo). Just a quick clarification, Margaret and Michael started the contest last year, I just did press for them. We met up for a radio show this summer and the MART came up with the Autumnal Get-Together. We have held three Masterclasses so far, one in Minneapolis, one in I
owa and now one in Brooklyn.”
