Today was a late morning with a bit of a lie in, and then a little wandering around Indianapolis.
This is where I'm staying before and after B'con. One of the nicest Best Westerns I've ever been in.
This is Lucas Oil Stadium. You just can't tell the scale from this shot, but it has to be the biggest building I have ever seen. Inside houses their football field.
Had to get a shot of their Union Station.
That's St. John's Catholic Church and rectory. Just nice brickwork. Can you tell I'm a bit of an architecture whore?
Autumn leaves in a lovely neighborhood.
And this is Mudsock Books and Curiosity Shoppe. A little bit of used books, and a little bit of new. I didn't have much luck here but Bob behind the counter was nice to chat with and, of course, so was Ralph the shop cat, who was interested in the other cat smells from my bags.
That's it for bookstores until B'con. Now it's on to sight-seeing, beer and wine tasting, and museum hopping. There is a miniature museum I have to check out (hope I can find it, being so small and all. :)

OK, I give; what's a "mudsock"?
