Hey. I know we haven't talked in a while but I'm usually over there on social media, booking my face or twittering. You know how it is. But tonight I met author Susan Spann with whom I will be joining in a dual event as part of our book tours this August. Susan writes in a very similar vein as I do, but she sets her mysteries in 16th century Japan. So we thought we'd do a little advertising with a sort of "East Meets West" kind of campaign. I've got a photographer husband. Let's shoot pictures!
Craig's messy studio before he got a chance to clean it up a bit.
Just some of his collection of old cameras. And Bigfoot.
Things are starting to shape up with a backdrop.
Craig fiddles with lighting.
Susan and I did most of our shots together but since he was there, it was a good idea to get in some shots of her alone for her own use. Yes, we each had our weapons. Wait till you come to our joint event in San Diego on August 14th! We'll have a demo on how to use a broad sword and the proper techniques with a katana!
Proof sheets. I've got to pick the best and then we've got ourselves some promos!
Come see us 2 pm on Sunday, August 14 at Mysterious Galaxy Bookstore. 5943 Balboa Avenue #100, San Diego, CA 92111. It’s a dual event with author Susan Spann and her newest Shinobi Mystery THE NINJA’S DAUGHTER. It’s East Meets West! Pre-order if you can: Phone (858) 268-4747.
